First of all, we would like to welcome you to 2008. We wish you all a very successful year. For us at Sixsigns we will be releasing our brand new platform really soon. We have been keeping it under the hood now for some time, but will be in public beta real soon. Actually we all can’t wait to let you on the application.
That said, we took the time over the last 2 days to move our Blog to a new engine. We have been thinking a long time about what to use and decided on Wordpress.org. So far, we don’t regret this move and are very impressed by its functionality. By far we are impressed how easy the installation went, by the uncountable themes and the vast amount of plugins that are available to customize Wordpress. Here are some of the plugins we installed:
- Akismet (keep those SPAM comments away)
- Google SiteMap Generator (wow:-) )
- CompleteRSS
- Stats (get live stats directly from Wordpress.com)
- Subscribe-Remind
We are still exploring all features, but so far are quite happy with the outcome. We hope you enjoy the new blog design and functionality as well. All old links should still work and the RSS-Feed are updated as well. Please let us know if you see anything not working as expected.
