Open BlueDragon VMWare image as torrent available

Wow, since announcing the VMWare Open BlueDragon image only yesterday, we already experienced hundreds (!) of downloads

To keep the downloading sane (and also our server farm) we created a bit-torrent of the 1 GB image. One of our servers is always seeding the torrent so there will be at least one “seeder” always available. Still we ask anybody kindly to leave their bit torrent client open as long as possible.

Without further ado, here is the link to the Open BlueDragon torrent file.

PS: The image is now also listed at the VMWare Appliances Center.

I can´t find the bittorrent file, have you removed it? It sounded as a realy good idé anyway.

Problem was updating the VMWare image all the time. But we have found a perfect replacement. We are now using the Elastic Server. http://www.elasticserver.com.

With Elastic you can create a virtual server for EC2, VMWare, Xen and much more.
