Just changing a name does not change the attitude towards a project and the "vibes" around it. I guess at this point all we can do is to show the community that we are serious and offer a engine and applications with it that holds up to the promises. Time will show that we are not controlled by anything else then the steering committee. I think we have shown in the recent past that we are open to the community, maybe it is now time that the community sees our efforts and opens up as well? @Scott

You can say it until you are blue in the face (pun intended), but some will just not completely buy it. I admit, I have a difficult time seperating the 2 and I am good friends with several curent and former members of the steering committee, whom I have spoken to at length about OBD and New Atlanta's position, or lack thereof, in the project. Here is an idea...change the name to something that does not sound like a product offered by New Atlanta.
