  Apple EFI Fireware update fixed my screen issue Apple | (1)

  In a recent blog post of mine I said that since 10.5.2 update and the graphic update my external Apple Cinema Display is not working anymore. Yesterday evening I applied the just released "Apple EFI Firmware update" and now this morning my MacBook Pro is working flawlessly with my external screen again! I don't know what Apple has done or if the firmware is the cause, but it is now working 100% even after rebooting the MacBook. As always Apple does not state much what the Firmware has changed, but I am sure happy they finally fixed it.

  Finally, Apple releases fix for Keyboard Issues Apple | (0)

  Today, Apple released a "Keyboard Firmware 1.0" which will fix (according to the description): "This MacBook and MacBook Pro firmware update addresses an issue where the first key press may be ignored if the computer has been sitting idle. It also addresses some other issues." This has driven me nuts. Thank you Apple for a fix that should not have been there :-)

  Quick, quick, quick - new MacBook Pro is out Apple | (0)

  Well, we all have been waiting for it: New updated MacBook Pro are out as of today. 2,2 Ghz, 2GB Ram, 120GB Drive, 15" 2,4 Ghz, 2GB Ram, 160GB Drive, 15" 2,4 Ghz, 2GB Ram, 160GB Drive, 17" Too bad, but the screen resolution is still the same. But we can now add more Ram which will give us a total of 4GB (yeah!) and we find upgraded NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT video cards (with either 128 MB or 256 MB of VRAM) plus a new 8x Superdrive.

  Back on the Mac Apple, Personal | (0)

  After two years of working only on Windows XP (and reinstalling the system about 2 times) and using Windows Vista in the last 4 months I am happy to have converted myself back to the Mac! Actually, now that I am back with my favorite applications (BBEdit, Entourage (yes I like it), etc.) I wondered how I could ever move away. I am still on installing more applications I need for work, but can't wait to have ColdFusion installed :-)
